Documenting History:
Two years ago, StoryCorps launched "a movement to pause, listen, and honor the voices of a generation by interviewing a loved one. Sit down with a grandparent or other elder, a friend, neighbor, or anyone else who means something to you, ask them questions about their life. Who are you? How do you want to be remembered? What stories and wisdom will you share with me? And then listen." This Thanksgiving, download the StoryCorp app and record a piece of history and document a life for posterity. The Library of Congress is saving these stories for future generations.
